Our Story

The Beginning

It all began years and years ago – before diving was our passion. We (the two Nics) became intertwined through a shared love of drinking, smoking, and general naughtiness.

The Middle

Fast forward to today and those vices have been largely replaced with diving! But we still weren’t satisfied… We travelled the world, from the Dead Sea to tiny islands in Vietnam. And there was always one thing that bothered us. The dive equipment was always so haggard and in disrepair. We thought to ourselves – how can anyone enjoy a dive when their life depends on the quality of the equipment? So we put our skills to use.

Nic, as an engineer for over a decade, design our whole range, from the military-grade hoses right down to custom molds for our face-masks. Meanwhile, Nick began sourcing from the best factories in China, organizing trade routes, and building close bonds with dive shops across the world.

The Future

As of now, Aquanics is a leading favorite in dive shops across Africa, Asia, The Americas, and Europe due to our ‘built-to-last’ production concepts. But we won’t stop there. Our future is bright. With better connections with militaries, professionals and hobbyists, Aquanics is building a name for serious safety, longevity, and beautiful design.
